PDR HISTORY
The history of Paintless Dent Repair started in the 1940's & 50's with Mercedes Benz and BMW factory workers who developed it, so that they didn't have to halt the assembly lines during production. They got to be known as 'Ding Men' and eventually the process was refined and adopted by Europe and the USA, and has continued ever since.
Q. WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES
If we can't remove the damage, we won't do it, and once its removed, it won't come back, unless you damage it again, in the same place.
Q.TIME TO SEND ESTIMATION
Small dents 30mins-1.5hour
Large dents 1.5 - 4 hours
Anything that is more difficult to access and more complicated, we will give you a quotation on appointment.
Q. DOES THE DENT POP OUT?
No it is lifted with a series of pushes. Its a very precise and skilled process that requires a lot of patience.
Q. IF THE PAINT IS DAMAGED, IS IT WORTH USING YOUR SERVICE?
If the paint is only lightly scuffed with a faint mark that will polish out, or has a very small chip in it, which can be touched in, then yes it probably is, if however the paint has been scuffed all the way back to the metal, or has large cracks in it, then we would recommend that you allow us to take it to our bodyshop for the repair.
Q. I'VE SEEN A DIY DENT IMPROVER KIT, CAN'T I JUST DO IT MYSELF?
I wouldn't recommend that you do, they're called improver kits for a reason, and in the wrong hands, could potentially cause more damage, making it too severe a repair to be carried out by a PDR technician, in which case it would have to go to our bodyshop, so the money you initially saved, would end up costing you a lot more.
